Pornhub has released its latest data analysis which demonstrates the rise of smartphones as a method for watching porn.
In 2010, iOS and Android mobile operating systems accounted for only 12% of the traffic share of Pornhub. Last month, they accounted for 63%.
Android visitors spent longer than iOS users during each session, taking an average of 10 minutes and 6 seconds per visit to browse 10.9 pages, whereas iOS users took 8 minutes 40 seconds to browse 9.8 pages.
The top three most searched for 'porn stars' for both operating systems were Lisa Ann, Mia Khalifa and Kim Kardashian.
Ann placed first on Android, followed by Khalifa and Kardashian, while Kardashian was top for iOS users, followed by Khalifa and Ann.
The most popular search term for both operating systems was 'lesbian,' followed on Android by 'cartoon' and 'black,' and for iOS followed by 'step mom' and 'teen.'
In the UK, all but 5% of mobile traffic came from Android or iOS devices; 64% from iOS and 31% from Android.
